ACM^TM

The ACM^TM (Acquisition Control Module) is designed to interface with gauges and machines which have a digital or analog based outputs.

The ACM^TM includes four expansion slots for the addition or factory installation of any combination of gauge modules. The available gauge modules are Federal Quad Port, Mitutoyo Quad Port, LVDT Quad Port, Analog Quad Port and Digital Interface modules. Additionally, Factory System’s staff of programmers can evaluate a process and write code tailored to the customer’s needs. The ACM has two ports called “Switch Input A” and “Switch Input B” that provide interface for eight channels of discrete input. These inputs are dry contact closure compatible. They can be shared between operator initiated inputs and direct inputs from the machine or process. Internally, these switches are user configurable and can be applied as cycle counters, uptime/downtime switches, assignable causes, attributes, sequencers, macros, setup initiation and many other functions.

In addition, Factory Systems can interface seemlessly with many third part probes.  This ever expanding list include the Solartron Orbit network of digital LVDT probes, Analog Input Modules, Digital I/O Module and Encoder Module.  Sony probes and scales, Lance Instruments air gauges, Starrett and Mitutoyo wireless probes.  Call us to see if we have an interface for your favorite device.  If we don't have it today, we will write for you.  If it has an electronic output, Factory Systems can read it.
